Rise of the Technology Class

These conversations are between students from Ecuador, India, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Spain and the US who see technology serving a higher purpose: A counter-culture to their predecessors. This is evidence of a new type of generative class who apply technology to their creativity with art, music, science and involvement within the community. Their activity is transparent and active to our evolving civility. These multinational students are socially conscious storytellers. The Moderator of this conversation, Michael Davis is an Executive MBA graduate of Steinbeis University Germany, The Berlin School of Creative Leadership.

By Caridad – cyber friends

It is becoming impressively easy to meet new people through the Internet. The advantages are many: to meet people without leaving home, without shame involves face to face, and if you don’t like the person simply delete it from your contact list.

Most of the world lies on the Internet, and it is difficult to know whether such a person really exists, or ‘an invention.’ To avoid the deception on the web, there are so-called official websites that charge for maintaining the account and assuming to know that people are real.

Today there are millions of people around the world, which is easier to link (meet somebody) on the ONLINE. I personally think it’s much better to FACE  TO FACE, more romantic and sincere.

Caridad – the Ökoball

This time, I am going to talk about a new invention for washing clothes: Ökoball.

I speak of  a ball that goes into the washing machine and no longer need to add detergent or fabric softener to the wash. It’s simple and not complicated. It saves a lot of money and the water from the washing machine does not have traces of soap, so it is a great benefit to the asbestos. It runs through some type of chemical reaction or electrolyte, for what you need to add to the washing machine. Instead of soap, one tablespoon of common salt (the kitchen) once a week. Here is the best part: You place the ball in the sun a short time for a “recharge,” and the ball that last about 1500 washes!

The ball leaves no odor on the clothes. You can also put in the dishwasher and wash dishes and can be left in the fridge to absorb odors.

The stuffed balls and ceramic magnets that are made to do all this without chemicals and at the end of its useful life it is recycled.  You can buy online and costs about 40€ and I think it is worth!

Caridad – Internet!

Internet is an impressive tool, but is dangerous too. You can do great things, depending who use it and how. As you can see videos, look as future victims of abductions and things like that.

Thanks to internet we can see videos, listen to the radio, watch the TV, chat with friends, and create a blog like this.

But we also should to be careful of sites that you get, share photos, etc. Because not be the first time that abductions happen thanks to a contact in Internet … And is that the world is full of bad people and a little good people…

And I sincerely hope the good people to overcome the bad, because it is a pity that Internet could become a nest of psychopaths!

Caridad – TV ads!

Ads on television are a weapon for companies to assault us with images and sound as emotional stories that are difficult to understand. Isn’t there a better way to convey a story on television?

Adverts on TV pitch ideas that have nothing to do with the product or brand. An example of this kind of ad is this:

I don’t dislike, but it isn’t related to the car. It may be because I don’t understand the metaphors… 😛

There are many kinds of ads. We have them all: those that make people laugh, make us excited…creative ads with really catchy songs, etc. All of us have diverse tastes. I like ads that make me laugh. What about you?

I leave here the links of my favourite ads, I’m not sure if they are ads that are broadcast in Spain or internationally.

– Ads on collection of Mixta:

– Variant to the advertisement of Mixta of the cats:

-The most beautiful ad of the world:

what are your favorite ads?

Caridad – electronic pets not good for children

The evolution of technology has led to interactive pets.pet1

They have changed much over the years, from toys, to robots that talk to you as they interact, to other dolls that tell a story if you prefer, etc.

pet2There are many types: dogs, cats, birds, monkeys,  robots and even invented animals! These toys are designed to entertain children? Or adults? And they have large amounts of circuitry whose power supply is usually a battery or rechargeable battery.

I think that young children are more exposed to these robot toys and other consoles at increasingly younger ages. I do not think this is an appropriate way for for children to interact! In my opinion, this is not healthy.

Here is one that serves drinks!

Caridad – My musical tastes

I like a bit of everything. Classical music such as Beethoven and Mozart; Spanish pop music – The Rosario Flores, Pignoise; Irish pop music – The Script. Telenovelas’s music; “Las tontas no van al cielo,” “pasion de gavilanes,” “rebelte way.”; The typical music of the Disney factory; High School Musical, Hanna Montana, Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Alyson Stoner.

The kind of music I like most is the English pop; Leona Lewis, Ashley Tisdale, Craig Davis, Hilary Duff, Taylor Swift and many more.

*Telenovela: a series with great drama and it always leaves you wanting more. And this is because they leave you with the curiosity of what will happen in the next chapter.
