Rise of the Technology Class

These conversations are between students from Ecuador, India, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Spain and the US who see technology serving a higher purpose: A counter-culture to their predecessors. This is evidence of a new type of generative class who apply technology to their creativity with art, music, science and involvement within the community. Their activity is transparent and active to our evolving civility. These multinational students are socially conscious storytellers. The Moderator of this conversation, Michael Davis is an Executive MBA graduate of Steinbeis University Germany, The Berlin School of Creative Leadership.

Well Cesar I think you already know that I am more of a PC user. We both only use a mac when we’re editing our videos. Yes macs are good in that case but other than that i like my PC.

I’ve always liked Macs better.. Maybe that’s because I’ve only ever owned Macs, but I feel like whenever I’ve used a PC it’s way more confusing like everything’s harder to find. It seems to me that people who know a lot about computers tend to prefer Windows, but for me I just like everything on my computer to be easy and laid out for me, so I like my Mac.

I think Windows is the preferred software worldwide except few exceptions. Not only because it is easier to find facilities abroad. For example, when you have to submit a work in class. It’s easier than the computers of the institute, is much easier to find the Windows Powerpoint, that the program in the MAC version.

I have a PC, but Mac is more expensive, but much better.

The new windows (Vista Windows) has a very good graphic entorn adt it´s very customizable, but it has got a lot of problems, and not let you do anything, it always ask permission one or two times, and the firewall blocks many things. It needs a lot of Ram (1 gigabyte) and a lot of Hard Disk Drive, about 40 gigabyte, and it take long time to load.

I haven´t used Mac a lot but with the same Ram and HDD Mac is faster and competitive, it works better than PC.

And of course, the size of the Mac is smaller than PC.
